How do I connect my OKOMO calendar to Office365 or Google Suite?

If you receive a lot of appointment requests or are only available at certain times, you can sync your Microsoft Office or Google calendar with OKOMO.

This way you can ensure that you only receive appointment requests at times when you are free in your Microsoft or Google calendar. The integration thus synchronizes your existing calendar entries and blocks all times for new appointment requests for which entries already exist.

To link your Microsoft/Google calendar with OKOMO, open the settings in your OKOMO Expert Portal, click on "Manage availabilities & calendars" and scroll down to the "Sync calendars" option. Now you can link your calendars and sync them directly with OKOMO.

Note: OKOMO only syncs the times of a calendar entry, not names, content or their participants.

What can I do if the synchronization with Microsoft Office failed?

It may happen that when synchronizing your Microsoft calendar with OKOMO, the following error message appears: In collectInfoFromReq: invalid state received in the request

In this case, proceed as follows:

  • Delete your cookies and try linking again.
  • If you still have problems, contact your system administrator and ask them to check whether there is a restriction on the admission of third-party providers. If this is the case, ask your administrator to remove it. Then delete all cookies again and make the link.
